So, as November arrives i will be writing up a story in the fantasy styling of tolkein (my forever idol and basically my god) As such i am creating a comprehensive and full world... i am currently making all the species and races that will occupy my world.  This is only the first of them, but i promise many more will follow, including the Gariffaeon and Writh, neither of which fantasy fans will want to miss!

So tell me how my first species is!  Also, if you have any basic concepts id love to hear them!  I'll literally take anyhing... and i appreciate any ideas whatsoever!

Race/group title: Pariti Ut Lemiche  (Ut is a standard title meaning "of" This means followers of Lemiche, the saint of many paths.  Each of the dozen secular towns in the region picked their name, this is referred to as "Pariti" meaning "followers")

Physical description: The patriti are a fairly normal group of humans, standing between 5'5" and 6'2" with lightly tanned skin typical of the regional people.  They possess long faces with little to no facial hair but the coloring is typically brown-black with a few yellowish blends that have become more frequent in recent years.  When it comes to eye color they vary greatly, yet are all the same.  Their eyes are always a standard brilliant blue, however the blue is tinged with varying colors, with virtually no two being alike. Their cultural dress is usually complimentary to the flecks of color that dot their eyes, although the most common colors of dress are blues, silvers, and whites.

Culture/Religion: Devout followers of Lemiche, they believe that seeing only one solution to a problem is sheer idiocy, and a sign of God's lack of favor.  As such, their troops are arrayed with a wide selection of tools, to make them capable and dangerous fighters regardless of curcumstance.  They are ranked according to a system called intrimi, which basically refers to their skill with each individual tool.  The highest master of the weapons was a sixth rank intrimi, though up to the tenth level is "possible" but it's so impossibly difficult to achieve that most are incapable of reaching even the sixth rank.  Their tools include(but are never limited to... anything really) Three standard types of long sword, two short swords, different styles of throwing knives equal to their rank (though they may exceed it) firemaking tools, explosive materials, lockpicks, several feet of string, axes of varying styles and types.  A blowgun and several dozen types of poisonous fluids.  The followers of lemiche are never without a half dozen backup plans... and they are never unarmed.

Technology level:  Catapults are not frequently used by the Patriti, though they frequently use a devious mix of siege bow styles and materials to reak havoc amongst enemy forces.  With such a superior supply of funds, they and their forces are constantly upgrading weapons and armaments.

History: Their region is smack dab in the middle of a nexus of riverways, centered at the edge of the mountains, right next to the waterfront and the only region where one can safely pass through the mountains making it is a popular trade center for both land and sea travelers.  Since it's founding centuries ago, it has remained the largest and most centralized trade hub in the world.  Unfortunately, bandits from the mountains and raiders from the sea forced the region to possess an army of uncomparable sizes.  Things were fine for a few years, until the cultures and religions clashed resulting in a decade spanning conflict known as the Shard Wars.  Aptly named for the fact that every fighting group had once been a single magnificent nation. Eventually five groups began to distinguish themselves, in both fighting style and strategical planning.  The Patriti were one of these groups.  The wars raged for a dozen years, then a dozen more... until they grew to attack neighboring regions.  As the regions about them began to fight back, the people were forced to drastic measures...  Then a meeting was made between the warring factions, over a hundred in all.  A plan was proposed, one which all the smaller cultures readily accepted and the only opposers were the biggest five until it was discreetly pointed out by a man in satin (who met with each and every one of the five, and who it was quietly whispered arranged the entire plan to bring peace.  To this day nobody knows where he came from, though many believe he was an agent of Baruss one of the neighboring regions due to his unique way of speaking and the odd sword on his hip) that if the smaller regions were to unite against a common enemy, they would never stand a chance.  So even though many wanted to continue fighting, they turned aside their differing beliefs and all were allied around the original central trading hub.  Every year the cultures could opt to send a man to the main city where a tournament was held, and the champion's region would control the central town and recieve the MASSIVE profits the city offered. Currently Patriti holds the hub, though each group also has several towns spattered through the region.  In recent years, many of the original cultures have vanished or been absorbed willingly into the larger groups, as warring between groups is strictly prohibited and any who attack may expect an overnight annihilation of everything they have and division/sale of all held lands.  Currently 62 regions exist in this locale, most of which who have enough money to rival most outside nations.
If you have any ideas... send me them!

Just after the last message I sent I thought of something.

Race title/Name: Chi'Dren (Named after Chi the word they chant in temples and Dren the god that created them)

Physical description: The Chi'Dren are somewhat short rarely ever growing taller then 5'. Their faces always take on an oval shape with thin features giving them a pleasing appearence. Their eye colour usually varies between green and violet with their hair always being a bright orange and extremely pale skin. Once they reach the age of fifteen the village elders ink tattoo's into their skin so they can identify which tribe they were born into and what role they have in that tribe.

Religion: They worship a god named Dren who is said to have given life to them through a magical spring which is said to contain this gods tears. The Chi'Dren get up at six in the morning to go to gather in the village squares for morning mass, they pray for two hours chanting Chi over and over which is said to be a wish of kindness to thier god Dren. This process is then repeated during seven at night just before meal time.

Technology: The Chi'Dren don't have much in weaponary as they only live thirty years giving little time for development on such things, what weapons they do have are usually bow's and other bow type apparatusses like the crossbow's built into their warriors gauntlets. Most of their technological advancement is in home appliances such as carving from wood or forging with metal impliments to help with cooking like large spoons or mashers. Other advancements take place in their clothing where they can sew the tiniest patterns into any fabric and can dye their clothes any colour they desire thanks to the plants that grow in the area.

History: The Chi'Dren first started appearing in the Undbak valley during the Golden age where it is said they appeared out of a spring that glowed with an ethemeral light which led to several arguments over fact versus religion. The Chi'Dren were at first treated with caution from neighbouring villages but several decades later they were attack by a now unknown assailant almost decimating their race which forced the Chi'Dren to flee the village they built around the spring which created them. Over the centuries of nomad life thenlocation of the sacred spring was lost to them which has since struck a blow to the Chi'Dren people. It wasn't until the Elder age that the Chi'Dren settled down in the Billowing forest where they built a new village with statues across the forest depicting their god Dren to help guide lost travellers safely through the forests natural defences.
